The Mission

BIG Zion AME Zion Church is a fellowship of believers whose mission is derived from Mark 16:15–18: Exalting the Savior, Educating the People, Equipping the Saints, and Evangelizing the lost—a holistic approach to ministry that speaks to worship, discipleship, service, and outreach.

The Vision

To be a Christ-centered, Spirit-led church in the heart of Mobile—forming disciples, strengthening families, serving our neighbors, and carrying the Gospel beyond our walls.
How we live it out (the “4 E’s”)
  • Exalting through worship, prayer, and the preaching of Jesus Christ
  • Educating through Christian education and lifelong discipleship
  • Equipping through training, mentorship, and ministry opportunities
  • Evangelizing through compassion, outreach, and community engagement
